Description


Our Client is looking for an experienced account executive to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with the Finance team to proactively manage outstanding debtors and reduce overdue balances.

  • Accurately bank and allocate incoming payments, including cheques, cash, and credit card transactions.

  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.

  • Conduct regular reviews of customer accounts to identify late or missed payments and ensure timely follow-up.

  • Generate and issue sales invoices in line with specific customer requirements, including portal submissions and VMI processes, while maintaining proper records.

  • Promptly and accurately process supplier invoices to support effective procurement and supply chain activities.

  • Manage workloads across both Reagecon and Carl Stuart, adjusting priorities based on current business demands.

  • Support ongoing process improvements within the Finance function through collaboration with the wider team.

  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.


Experience & Skills:


  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.

  • Proficiency with integrated financial systems such as SAP or comparable software.

  • Experience within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME), with an understanding of its unique operational challenges.

  • Knowledge of the customer base is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across departments.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.


Qualifications:


  • A qualification as an Accounting Technician or actively working towards completion is considered beneficial.
