About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious BIM Manager to lead digital delivery for our Dublin based projects. This role is a strategic step up for an experienced Coordinator ready to take full ownership of the BIM lifecycle. You will be responsible for defining BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with international standards, and acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Take full ownership of the BIM process from pre-construction to handover. Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP).
- Clash Management: Oversee the federated model process using Navisworks/Solibri, leading multi-disciplinary coordination meetings and ensuring high-level resolution of complex MEP clashes.
- Information Management: Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE)—such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM 360—ensuring file naming and data exchange align with ISO 19650.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop and manage Revit templates, custom families, and automated workflows (Dynamo experience is a plus) to drive office efficiency.
- Team Development: Mentor junior BIM technicians and site teams. Conduct internal audits to ensure all models meet strict quality and data standards (COBie/Asset Data).
- Site Integration: Bridge the gap between the digital model and the physical build, overseeing site setting-out packages and ensuring the "As-Built" model accurately reflects site installations.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a BIM-centric role within the MEP or Construction sector.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage.
- Standards Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 and the Irish National Annex.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Mechanical & Electrical services and how they integrate into architectural and structural constraints.
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Level 7/8). A Higher Diploma or MSc in BIM is highly advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and hold sub-contractors/designers accountable to deadlines.
