Our client is looking for a credit collections Specialist to join their Order-To-Cash team. The ideal candidate will have previous credit control experience within a multi-national corporation and knowledge of the order to cash function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a substantial and expanding accounts receivable portfolio with a focus on reducing outstanding debt and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Proactively follow up on due and overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and send written communications to customers efficiently, including reminder notices and monthly account statements.
- Evaluate and determine appropriate credit limits for customers in alignment with credit policies, financial evaluations, credit ratings, and payment histories. Serve as a key liaison between the Commercial and Finance teams.
- As the Credit & Collections Specialist, assess customer credit risk by analyzing financial data and providing recommendations supported by sound judgment and reasoning.
- Collaborate closely with internal finance, commercial, and other relevant departments to verify customer information and address overdue payments.
- Act as the primary contact for internal and external inquiries, assisting with the resolution of billing issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly management reports, including DSO metrics, flux analysis, and aging reports.
- Consistently deliver a high standard of customer service in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating across all organizational levels and discussing sensitive or confidential information.
- A proactive self-starter who works well independently, upholding high standards of integrity, collaboration, and performance.
- Quick thinker capable of translating business requirements into practical solutions.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a global team and with external partners.
