Position Overview
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and helpful support for our client int he manufacturing industry. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer‑first mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, orders, and policies.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records using CRM tools.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
- Process orders, returns, exchanges, and account updates as required.
- Identify recurring problems or trends and recommend improvements.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics such as response times, satisfaction scores, and resolution rates.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay knowledgeable about products, systems, and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role (1–2 years preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, ticketing tools, and standard office software.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- A positive, customer‑focused attitude.
