Job Title: Food Safety and Quality Officer
Location: Co.Clare
Salary: €35,000 – €40,000
Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Food Safety & Quality Officer to join our Client team in Clare. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the company products meet all customer requirements and comply with the highest standards of food safety. This is a perfect opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for food safety and quality assurance to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee product quality, processes, food safety, and standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Identify and implement opportunities for quality improvement.
• Complete quality-based inspections and audits, including preparing necessary documentation and coordinating responses.
• Develop, update, and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the company.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
