Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience to join our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of HGVs to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and compliance with all legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and Vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults efficiently
• Work on braking systems, suspension, steering, engines, gearboxes, and axles
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
• Ensure all work is completed to RSA standards
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns when required (if applicable)
• Comply with all health & safety and company procedures

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HGV Mechanic or Technician
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
• Experience working on a variety of HGV makes and models
• Good understanding of current transport legislation and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Full Irish driving licence
