Job Title: HR Co-Ordinator
Job Type: Full Time(onsite)
Location: Shannon, Co. Clare
Salary: 37k - 43k per annum
Summary:
A leading life sciences organization in Co. Clare is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. This role involves partnering with internal stakeholders across all levels, ensuring seamless administration and coordination of HR functions in compliance with GDPR and confidentiality standards. The HR Advisor will contribute to the overall HR strategy while thriving in a dynamic environment. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in fostering employee engagement and supporting organizational goals.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the efficient operation of the HR Department, working closely with the HR Manager.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of employee onboarding and offboarding, including role offers, inductions, resignation acknowledgments, exit interviews, and coordination with Finance.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes such as creating job advertisements, sourcing and screening candidates, reviewing job descriptions, preparing interview scripts, and advising hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Maintain personnel files and training records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with line managers to address day-to-day HR matters, with guidance from the HR Manager.
  • Develop and implement employee reward and engagement initiatives, in partnership with the global HR team.
  • Keep all HR systems fully updated, providing real-time reporting on metrics.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, handling them respectfully and efficiently, and escalating when necessary.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks with precision and attention to detail, adhering to deadlines.
  • Support the development of HR processes and policies while advising stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on current employment law, case law, and best practices, translating this knowledge into actionable policies and procedures.
  • Coach and support managers through change management, performance management, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Operations Director, particularly those related to regulatory compliance.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • A 3rd Level Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline (CIPD qualification preferred).
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to apply this to policies and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with excellent analytical and metrics-based reporting skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
