Title: Inventory Co-ordinator
Location: Dunmore Co. Galway
Hours: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Gi Group Recruitment are currently sourcing for an Inventory Co-ordinator for our client in Dunmore Co. Galway. Our client is a second generation, family run business who are the national leader the design, manufacturing and installation of quality loft ladder systems.
The purpose of the role of the Inventory Co-ordinator is to ensure good management of stock, adequate storage, efficient production & competent management of wood machinery to maintain in good working order. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working with timber.

What will I be doing?
• Managing stock of wood onsite, including storage of timber components for assembly
• Processing of wood onsite to produce various timber parts
• Ensuring good stock of processed parts for assembly in conjunction with production team
• Effective use of machinery to operate at optimum performance in accordance with training and instruction
• Recording & scheduling of machine maintenance
• Adhering to all EHS policies and procedures including Manual Handling
What will I bring to the role?
• Prior experience working with wood machinery in a production/processing capacity.
• A good understanding of wood machinery and their effective use to maintain good operating procedures.
• Experience handling & inspecting timber for processing to identify defects or weaknesses in the wood.
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet weekly targets for production.
