Job Title: Logistics Manager
Location: Shrule, Co. Mayo
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About Us:
Our Client based in Shrule, Co. Mayo, known for delivering high-quality components with a commitment to precision, efficiency, and innovation. Our client currently expanding our operations and introducing a new Logistics Manager role to strengthen our internal systems and processes. This is a newly created position offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape and lead the logistics function within the company. The Logistics Manager will oversee all logistical operations, including stock control, manpower planning, and IT systems related to supply chain and warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop logistics processes across the business.
• Oversee stock control and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Plan and manage manpower resources to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Implement and control all logistics-related IT systems and processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to streamline operations.
• Analyse data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
• Report regularly to senior management on logistics performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong IT skills, with experience implementing or managing ERP, WMS, or stock control systems.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of a new function within the business.
• Experience with logistics automation or digital transformation projects.
• Relevant third-level qualification in logistics, operations, or supply chain management.
