Job Title: Mill-Turn Specialist (Esprit CAM / DMG Mori NTX)
Location: Onsite Athlone
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mill-Turn Specialist to join our advanced manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Esprit CAM programming, hands-on experience with DMG Mori NTX mill-turn machines, and a proven track record of producing complex components in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate DMG Mori NTX mill-turn centres to manufacture high-precision parts.

Develop efficient and reliable Esprit CAM programs for a wide range of complex part families.

Optimize machining processes for quality, repeatability, and throughput.

Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust offsets, improve toolpaths, and reduce cycle times.

Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet demanding delivery timelines.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company standards.

Provide input into tooling selection, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with mill-turn machining.

Proficiency in Esprit CAM for multi-axis programming (mandatory).

Strong experience with DMG Mori NTX (or similar mill-turn platforms).

Proven ability to program and machine complex geometries to tight tolerances.

Comfortable working in a high-pressure, high-mix manufacturing environment.

Solid understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, materials (including difficult-to-machine alloys titanium, cobalt chrome and stainless steel)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred / Advantageous

Experience with Citizen sliding-head (Swiss-style) lathes is a distinct advantage.

Knowledge of automation, probing, program macros and process optimization.

Background in medical, aerospace, or other high-precision industries.
