Gi Group Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join the growing team in ProVerum, Galway.

ProVerum is an early-stage medical device company who specialise in the design and production of innovative MedTech used in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). ProVerum’s cutting edge solutions are revolutionising the treatment of BPH, a condition that affects more than 50% of men over the age of 50.

About the Role
As a Production Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ProVerum’s manufacturing operations in Ballybrit. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting, progressive company at an early stage and to develop within the team with a view to possibly progressing to a more senior role as the company expands.

Your Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment and will be eager to contribute to ProVerum’s mission of improving the lives of those affected with BPH.

  • Assemble medical devices, ensuring precision and adherence to detailed procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and product development teams, providing valuable feedback for design enhancements and process improvements.
  • Play a key role in quality control inspections and testing of assembled units, meticulously documenting any deviations.
  • Take ownership of the assembly process, actively participating in small-scale production and validation testing.
  • Troubleshoot issues during builds and validation testing, proactively proposing and implementing solutions to enhance product quality.
  • Train and mentor new team members on assembly and testing procedures, sharing your expertise, and contributing to the team's growth.
  • Maintain meticulous records of materials, production activities, and validation results.
  • Become the subject matter expert in the assembly of our medical devices, providing guidance and knowledge to the team.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency gains.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements for medical device manufacturing and adhere to environmental standards.


What you will bring to the team

  • Prior experience in medical device assembly and manufacturing is essential.
  • Experience working in a clean room environment is a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO standards
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for contributing to the development of innovative medical technologies.
  • The ability to adapt to a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office for data entry and documentation purposes.
