Gi Group Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a QC Inspector to join our client in Parkmore, Galway.

Our client is a well known multinational and their Parkmore facility supports Ireland’s medical device manufacturing industry through their Parylene Coating services.
As a QC Inspector you will a critical role in maintaining the highest levels of product quality and ensuring that all components meet strict quality standards

What you will be doing?

  • Performing incoming, in-process and final inspection of products, in accordance with acceptance criteria, internal standards and customer requirements.
  • Booking on material to the ERP system.
  • Assisting in the preparation of work instructions and other product control tests.
  • Interaction with production personnel to coordinate inspection activities.
  • Reporting non-conforming material
  • Preparing Certificates of Compliance, test reports.
  • Reporting performance of inspection activities.
  • Maintaining files of drawings and production travellers.
  • Maintaining neat and orderly work area.
  • Potentially assisting in other areas or performing other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.

What you will bring to the role.

  • 2-4 years of experience doing similar work in an industrial production environment.
  • Experience with precise measuring instruments such as low-pressure micrometres and callipers.
  • Knowledge of ESD basic protocols
  • Knowledge of basic MS Office i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Parylene coating and printed circuit board experience is preferred but not essential
