QEHS Manager

Purpose of the Role
We’re seeking a meticulous, proactive QEHS Manager to lead and continually improve the company’s integrated Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety management systems. You’ll support both factory operations and on-site installation projects, occasionally travelling within the UK and Europe for inspections, audits, and compliance checks. A central part of your mission will be maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications while embedding a culture of compliance and ongoing improvement.
Key Responsibilities

- Sustain and refine the integrated management system in line with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
- Plan, perform, and report on internal audits; coordinate third-party certification audits.
- Investigate non-conformances and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead improvement initiatives across both manufacturing and installation activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments on projects throughout the UK and Europe.
- Produce clear inspection and audit reports with findings, actions, and recommendations.
- Deliver QEHS inductions and refresher training for employees and subcontractors, promoting a strong safety and quality mindset.
- Track and report QEHS KPIs such as incident rates, environmental metrics, and audit results.
- Remain current on European legislation and industry best practice for quality, environmental, and health & safety management.
- Serve as the primary QEHS contact for both the production facility and field teams.
- Assist with sustainability initiatives and ensure alignment with environmental objectives.
- Model safe working practices and champion QEHS excellence across all locations and organizational levels.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least three years’ experience in a QEHS role, preferably within construction or engineering environments.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and reporting abilities.
- Proven capacity to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and resolve problems proactively.
- Legal ability to travel freely between the UK and EU (valid passport, visa/permit if applicable).
- Willingness to travel periodically to UK and European project sites.
- Full, clean driving license.
