Quality Engineer
Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the company adheres to quality control and assurance standards in production and testing processes. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with company policies and customer guidelines, driving process improvements, conducting audits, and managing supplier quality activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with company policies and customer guidelines in relation to quality control and assurance in production and testing.
Implement and maintain quality requirements by updating procedures, work instructions, and forms, while also reviewing customer specifications.
Develop, refine, and implement methods for process control, improvement, testing, and inspection.
Coordinate and participate in quality audits, including internal, external, customer, and regulatory evaluations.
Support supplier management activities, including supplier validation, auditing, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Assist with process validation efforts, including analyzing control data and developing related protocols and reports.
Perform material inspections and certify quality compliance.
Requirements - Skills, Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Engineering (Level 8), a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant skills.
At least 2 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is essential; experience with AS 9100 and ISO 13485 standards is highly desirable.
Proficiency with quality-related computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Minitab®.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
