Gi Group is currently hiring a Stock Controller on behalf of a respected manufacturing client in Roscommon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company where your skills in stock control and inventory accuracy will make a real impact.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining accurate stock levels across all stages of the production process — from raw materials to finished goods. This role is essential to ensuring smooth production flow and on-time customer deliveries. You’ll work closely with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams, while also taking initiative to refine stock management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels for raw materials, components, and finished products
• Perform regular stock checks and investigate any discrepancies
• Liaise with purchasing and production teams to ensure materials are available as needed
• Receive, inspect, and log all incoming stock deliveries
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records using ERP and inventory systems
• Identify and implement improvements to stock control processes
• Communicate with suppliers and logistics partners regarding deliveries
• Support ongoing improvements across warehouse and production operations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a stock control or inventory role within a warehouse or production environment
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Good IT skills, especially in inventory software and Excel
• Strong organisation and time-management abilities
• Proactive and comfortable working both independently and in a team
• Forklift licence (desirable but not required)
