CNC Machine Operator
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
Annual leave: 20 Days (6 Christmas, 4 August, 10 Flexible)
Gi Group Ireland are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join our client in Co. Clare.

Our client is an industry-renowned specialist in the West of Ireland and are a family run business with a comprehensive background in bespoke cabinet & furniture fabrication.

Your Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.

• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimise processes.

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

• CNC Experience working with stone is an advantage (but not essential)

• Role is labour intensive so experience in a similar environment is desired

• Good knowledge of CAD and CAM software is essential with knowledge of Taglio and iCAM being a distinct advantage

• The ideal candidate will have experience using INTERMAC machine (preferably but not essential).

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• CNC experience in Plastic, Metal, Wood or Glass will also be accepted

• The ability to adapt to a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

• Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
