Job Title: Customer Financial Program And Portfolio Manager
Location: Cork City
Contract Type: 10 months contract
Pay Rate: €65-68 (PAYE) per hour

Summary: Our Tech Client in Cork City is looking to hire a contractor to govern as a Customer Financial Program and Portfolio Manager (Germany and Switzerland). The Successful contractor will be accountable for the overall coordination of financing transactions provided by outside financing partners to the company customers in Germany and Switzerland. The role will, on behalf of the Company, govern and maintain the standards set out in program agreements with the financing partners. The role will continuously work to maximize the benefit to customers from the financing partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and facilitate requests for company sales and various financing program partners. Maintain open and regular communication with our outsource funding partners.
  • Support outsourcing partners within internal meetings and keep in touch with sales reps and managers (cross-functional).
  • Oversee operational reporting from all financing partners to the company. Highlight issues and successes as appropriate.
  • Support existing portfolio of financing transactions that are outside of the outsourced financing programs. Provide support and direction to company Sales during the total deal lifecycle.
  • Provide support to transfer the existing finance customers from legacy financing model to new outsourced model.
  • Light travel: Customer meetings might be required within Germany, Switzerland and Ireland.
  • Manage all requests for maintenance rebate and other non-standard deal requests according to published guidelines.
  • Maintain residual tracking with existing partners. Managing the requests and outcomes of residual sharing arrangements.
  • Provide a single point of contact for day-to-day requests from financing partners concerning security, facilities, etc.
  • Creation, collection and determination of any localized program-related documentation.
  • Assist the outsource partner with pricing and documentation requests.
  • Participate in long-term projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English. Fluency on legal language in German and English especially in terms of financing contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to work successfully with staff and managers within and outside of this function.


Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams. Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas in a hybrid working model.
  • Understanding of legal language in German and English especially in terms of financing contracts.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a project-based environment
  • Ability to lead multinational and cross border finance projects
  • Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and the M365 Power platform (Teams, Power Automate, Sharepoint, Power BI) Basic technical understanding and the ability to learn about company technology.
  • Basic knowledge about AI and ability to use it for taking care of the tasks within the department.
  • This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties.
  • Limited supervision is provided, as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently.
  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert.
  • To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT financing is required.
  • A University Degree, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects
