Job Title: Financial Accountant

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience and a strong background in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
• Manage general ledger accounting and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Monitor and improve internal controls and financial processes.
• Assist with cash flow management and treasury functions.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support finance-related initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero) and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
