Our client is an award winning waste management company providing a waste service to thousands of homes and businesses across Galway City.

As a HGV Driver will you be an integral member of the crew so we are looking for reliable, hard workers who have a great customer focused attitude.

What you need for the role.

• Minimum 1 year experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Must hold all relevant C Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card.
• A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent driving history with accident free record.

What you will be doing.

• Ensuring all collections/deliveries are made in a professional and timely fashion.
• Resolving any issues/queries effectively and to escalate to relevant departments where necessary.
• Establishing good working relationships with customers.
• Conducting daily inspections of the vehicle before departing
• Following all EHS policies and procedures
