Position Overview:
Our Client in Athlone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our HR functions, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the company in achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a hardware business.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Support management in strategic workforce planning.
- Manage the recruitment process for new hires, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate selection.
- Oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the company.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes engagement, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts as needed.
- Identify training needs and develop programs to support employee development.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting goals.
- Assist in managing employee performance issues and improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Manage payroll-related queries and liaise with finance where necessary.
- Track and manage employee leave, absences, and benefits.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
