Description

Our Client is seeking an experienced International Payroll Specialist to support and manage payroll operations across approximately 40 countries, including EMEA, LATAM, APAC, and Canada.
18 month Contract
25-30 euro P/H
Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with HR and payroll vendors to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
  • Manage monthly payroll tasks including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Lead country-specific payrolls and maintain up-to-date knowledge of local payroll legislation.
  • Maintain and implement robust internal controls; reconcile monthly variances and document changes.
  • Facilitate and participate in payroll-related meetings and presentations.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Prepare and manage payroll tax payments, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain payroll process documentation and workflow procedures.
  • Identify areas for improvement, driving automation and efficiency initiatives.
  • Oversee the Payroll ESC ticketing system; respond to employee queries promptly.
  • Provide payroll support for expatriate and internationally assigned employees.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Contribute to project-based payroll initiatives as needed.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in international payroll operations, preferably within a Shared Services environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage payroll across multiple countries.
  • Familiarity with local payroll laws and statutory compliance requirements.
  • IPASS Certification or international equivalent preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; French or additional language skills are a plus.
