ISO & Tendering Lead (AEC Sector)
​ Location: Galway
Salary: €40k – €70k (Negotiable based on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

​ The Role
​Gi Group is recruiting for an ISO & Tendering Lead to join a highly successful, award-winning design practice. This is a critical dual-function role: you will be the gatekeeper of the firm’s ISO certifications and the primary driver for all formal project bids.
​We need a "process-first" professional who understands the rigors of the construction/consultancy sector and has the technical discipline to manage high-stakes deadlines.

​ Key Responsibilities
​ 1. Tendering & Bid Management

• ​ Portal Management: Take full ownership of the eTenders process, monitoring opportunities and managing the submission pipeline.
• ​ Submission Quality: Lead the preparation of comprehensive tender responses, coordinating technical input from large design teams and external stakeholders.
• ​ Documentation: Collate, edit, and format all "Quality" and "Technical" aspects of bids to ensure 100% compliance with RFT requirements.

​ 2. ISO & Office Governance

• ​ Standards Maintenance: Lead the implementation, maintenance, and annual renewal of ISO standards across the practice. (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or similar)
• ​ Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure office policies and project workflows align with ISO requirements.
• ​ Continuous Improvement: Oversee general office governance, ensuring all company practices, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.

​ The Requirements

• ​ Experience: 5+ years in a dedicated ISO/Tendering role, specifically within the Construction, Engineering, or Architecture sectors (Contractor or Consultancy side).
• ​ Technical Knowledge: Proven experience in obtaining and implementing ISO standards and managing a professional office to maintain them.
• ​ Bid Savvy: Deep practical knowledge of the Irish tendering landscape and public procurement processes.
• ​ Skillset: High-level project management, excellent technical writing, and the ability to collaborate with senior Architects and external partners.
