Job Title: Operations Manager – Solar Industry
Location: Limerick
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 70,000-80,000
Role Overview:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our solar installation operations — from site management to post-installation service and office administration. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage subcontractors, ensure project targets are met, and uphold operational excellence across both field and office environments.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee day-to-day operations of solar installation projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality control.

  • Ensure installation targets and deadlines are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Provide leadership and support to in-house teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.

  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring contracts are fulfilled and standards maintained.

  • Oversee post-installation customer service and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Direct office operations including scheduling, resource allocation, reporting, and workflow optimization.

  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.

  • Act as the primary operational authority, making informed decisions to drive the business forward.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in operations management within the solar or renewable energy sector is essential.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing both internal teams and subcontractors.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Solid understanding of solar installation processes and site requirements.

  • Confident, authoritative, and capable of making high-level operational decisions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certification or training related to renewable energy or project management.

  • Experience with CRM, project management, or scheduling tools.
