Gi Group Recruitment are actively recruiting for Production Operators for our client in Shannon, County Clare. Our client is a global leader in the production and distribution of laboratory equipment and chemicals.

This role would ideally be suited to someone who has previous experience in a highly regulated, production environment and a warehouse environment

Duties:

  • Fill, seal and cap products in accordance with appropriate SOPs and GMPs.
  • Use automatic labelling unit to label products
  • Ensure all items are packed in appropriate boxes and put on pallets for transfer to stores.
  • Contribute to maintenance of production areas to a high standard including housekeeping, emptying bins or any other tasks of a similar nature.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are complied with and ensure all accidents and incidents are reported immediately to Cell Lead or Production Manager
  • Be available for training and upskilling as required
  • Kitting of work stations for Production Technicians in order to ensure that all manufacturing jobs are prepared in advance
  • Any other duties in relation to the support of the production area when required by the Cell lead, production manager or any other member of the management team.


Requirements for Role:

  • Previous experience in a highly regulated production environment is a distinct advantage
  • Experience and license to drive a forklift is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisor.
