Job Title: Program Manager in Change management
Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid 4 days in office 1 from home)
Job Type: 6 month Contract
Daily Rate: €450-500 per day

Summary:
Our Tech client in Dublin city centre is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager with 7+ years of experience, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex and strategic IT projects. Drawing upon your extensive background, you will lead a team of professionals, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure the efficient execution of projects from initiation to closure. Your expertise in project management methodologies, technology, and leadership will be critical in driving the success of high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies Team
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Provide guidance on complex technical issues and ensure effective problem resolution.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement professional development plans for team members.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, department heads, and external partners.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with resource managers to ensure the right skills are available at the right time.
  • Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that enhance project management capabilities.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Monitor project expenditures and implement cost-control measures.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive financial reports to leadership
  • Establish and enforce project management standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, quality, and adherence to standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.
  • Anticipate and address complex technical and organizational challenges.
  • Facilitate innovative solutions and guide the team in overcoming obstacles.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT project management with a proven track record of successfully delivering large and complex projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align projects with organizational objectives.
