Site Engineer
Location: Munster Region
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: €40k - €70k (experience depending)
Gi Group are currently seeking a motivated Site Engineer to join a growing civil engineering team working on a large-scale infrastructure project in the Munster area. This role offers excellent exposure to challenging works and the opportunity to progress your career within a supportive environment.
Role Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Project Manager and site staff to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Interpret technical drawings and project specifications with accuracy.
• Undertake site setting-out using GPS and Total Station equipment.
• Monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to project meetings, providing technical input and solutions to on-site challenges.
• Maintain detailed site records including progress updates, reports, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or similar discipline.
• Skilled in AutoCAD and general IT packages; experience with MS Project desirable.
• Proficient in setting-out with GPS and Total Station equipment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication abilities and a collaborative work style.
