Job Title: Toolmaker – Medical Devices
Location: Inverin, County Galway
Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 39 hours per week (no overtime)

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on high-precision moulds, ideally within the Medical Devices industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of overall toolmaking experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture, maintain, and repair fine, high-precision moulds used in medical device production
• Work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Operate and maintain CNC machinery and manual tools
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure tooling meets performance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fine toolmaking for medical devices
• Ideally 5 years’ total experience in toolmaking
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
