We are currently looking to hire a Warehouse Operative, who will be responsible for general manufacturing warehouse duties including controlled receipt and management of raw materials, manage provision of approved materials for manufacturing and testing, storage and shipment of manufactured products, ensuring GMP requirements are met.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive Vendor Deliveries (Primary, secondary components and other materials) Deliveries and book on to the SAP system
- Complete Required Checks and locate all materials into relevant location
- Pull requisitions and kits for relevant departments according to daily plan and transfer to Kanban where required.
- Pick & Prepare shipments for relevant countries according to picking list, Customer Requirements and mode of transport
- Liaise with Freight Forwarders and advise details for Receipts and Exports
- Operate a Fork Trucks (Narrow Aisle/Counterbalance/Reach Truck) Pallet Trucks, and Stacker Trucks
- Day to day housekeeping
- Adhere to all cGMP, GDP and Safety requirements
- Enter all relevant SAP transactions according to Procedures
- Report and record all deviations
- Participate in all training required and highlight training needs
- Manage Inventory and complete Cycle Counts/Full Inventory Counts as per Finance Schedule
- *Work Shift and Overtime as required by supervisory team - 4shift*
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
- Forklift experience
- Escape Harness Trained
- SAP Experience - WH Management SAP or equivelant
- Warehouse Vendor Receipt Experience
- Warehouse Export/Shipping Experience
- Proficient in Excel
- GDP (Good Distribution Practice)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- GMP knowledge
- Computer/IT literate
